Pitt has the unique opportunity to be part of a Japanese silent narrator (Benshi) Tour this month. Kataoka Ichiro will narrate the silent classic film Jirokichi the Rat on Tuesday, February 26 at 6:30 pm in 125 Frick Fine Arts Auditorium accompanied by pianist Tom Roberts. Mr. Kataoka gained an international reputation for his efforts to revive the Japanese tradition of narrating and commenting on the silent screen and has performed in Japan, Germany, and across America. Whether you're a cinephile, interested in Japanese culture, or just want to witness an exciting and unique performance, be sure to mark your calendars!
