Seijin no hi, the Japanese Coming of Age Ceremony, is held in early January to commemorate those who have reached the age of maturity, 20 years old. The Asian Studies Center and the English Language Institute will be hosting the second annual Coming of Age Ceremony in the University Club Ballroom A on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 7:00pm. Pitt students, especially those studying Japanese, are welcome to participate! We will celebrate along with ELI students from Yasuda University. Please email us at asia@pitt.edu to register.
